A Norwegian man meets a modern Muslim woman (the director) and embraces Islam in the name of love. Together they face controversial topics such as Syariah and circumcision. Under pressure from both families they are forced to make lifeshaping decisions between love and religion, freedom and tradition. An intimate film about a cross-cultural couple in their formative years from newlyweds to a family of four.
